Meunier Group was founded in 2004 following the merger between EMEGA (manufacture of protection cupboards and cabinets; installation, maintenance and renovation of high-voltage cabinets), BUHLER (industrial equipment distribution) and DOUDOUX (hinges, fixing clamps, locking devices, etc.). These companies have combined their resources on the Momignies site to form a company that plays an active role in the industrial sector.

A brief history:

DOUDOUX: specialized in the manufacture of fixing and locking devices, mainly for the rail sector.

BUHLER: In 1946, Antoine Buhler founded a company whose main activities were importing and distributing industrial equipment. Over the years, the company specialized in edging and sealing profiles and locking and fixing systems.

EMEGA: Since 1970, EMEGA has been an electro/mechanical engineering company producing high-voltage electrical cabinets. Over the years, the company has developed two main areas of activity: fine sheet metal work and industrial high and low-voltage electrical installations.

In 2004, when the company moved to Momignies, a production unit was set up to offer customers a wider and more integrated range of electromechanical solutions.

This activity developed rapidly due to the skills of a team of professionals who joined Meunier Group in 2006 and have since been involved in the manufacture of electro-mechanical machines and units. We can now offer custom engineering packages to most of the leading industrial sectors.

At the end of 2014, Meunier Group decided to re-focus its activities on its core business – the study, development and production of welded solutions to meet increasing demand from its partners in the rail and energy sectors. The “ABuhler” division, which offers a range of accessories for industry, was reinforced.
